Member 9369 Mike Ashby wrote in to express his thanks to the BSAP Trust for a helping hand when his small business repairing two-way radios fell on hard times principally caused by the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Mike, from Basingstoke in Hampshire, was struggling to meet his business and personal expenses, and needed some financial support to help him through a rough patch ahead of an expected resurgence of business activity.
“The Trustees acted incredibly quickly”, said Mike, who was impressed that his application was dealt with, approved, and paid, all within 72 hours. He said “The help from the Trust provided a much needed lifeline for me, and I can’t recommend membership of the UK Association highly enough, especially as it makes the Trust support available. For me, this is invaluable comradeship and support, typical of the spirit of the BSAP”.
