Autobiography covering time, when the author was appointed the first Bishop of Mashonaland in 1891. He was also a Chaplain to the troops during the 1893 Matabele War, which he describes in detail.
Includes a double fold out map, which comes in two parts and covers the areas of the country that became Manicaland and Mashonaland and was reprinted from the Journals of the Mashonaland Mission 1888 – 1892.
A hardback edition in good condition with a protective dust jacket, which although untorn, is slightly sun faded along the spine and has only minimal chafing on the edges
